Carolyn’s Background
As Corporate Vice President for Southwest Airlines, Carolyn led a department of over 6000 employees. She was instrumental in maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service and was able to do so with a priority on fair and optimum employee relations. Previously, as Director for a major international airline, she traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, where her experiences ranged from Airport Operations and Consumer Affairs to teaching Customer Service classes in London and arranging for contract labor in Mexico.
Of Southwest Airlines, Carolyn says, “After having worked for other major corporations, I knew I was at home when, as Manager, I signed a communication to employees with ‘Love, Carolyn’. It was indeed my privilege to work for Southwest and its leadership for over thirteen years, where the emphasis was always on treating customers and employees with love and respect. After having achieved traditional success, I am now enjoying my second dream career.”
In order to travel, help others and pursue her study and passion of philosophy and spirituality, Carolyn retired from the corporate world. She is an excellent public speaker, motivator and writer. Her greatest joys are her faith and family. She would say her strong suit is: helping people remember their awesome greatness; assisting them in using their emotions as their friend and guide; helping them in finding their true passion; and then guiding them in setting the appropriate intentions to live their dreams. “It’s amazing how many people stay too long in a career or relationship for reasons other than their own, without allowing their inner truth to guide them.”

She is adamant when she says, “I am neither a counselor nor a psychologist. I am a Coach. I intend to ask the right questions to help guide you to your highest and best outcome. As your coach, I am: passionate about your happiness; here when needed with additional guidance and support; cheering you on when you feel incapable; and applauding when you achieve. But, ultimately, releasing you to live the life of your dreams…”
Carolyn’s Beliefs
When Carolyn Ruth speaks of her Professional Life Coach practice, she does so with conviction and inspiration. “Life Coaching allows me to help others realize their greatness…..the ‘I AM’ within. My passion lies in assisting others to see obstacles they have created and help them overcome them by setting new and positive intentions to support their goals and their happiness. This may be in areas such as: health, self-esteem, relationships, career, spirituality, finances, parenting, and others. There is no greater reward than, helping people to remember how much they have to offer; to themselves, each other and our world.
Each individual has come into this life for a fantastic
experience and it doesn’t have to be as difficult as we
make it and.....yes, we are the ones who create it.”
“I believe when we truly know and understand that ‘we are not human beings having a spiritual experience but rather spiritual beings having a human experience’, life takes on a whole new meaning. We, then, see we are creators of our own destiny…..not just by our actions but through our thoughts, intentions, speech, dreams and ideas. Emotions are our friend as well as the guide for determining if we are on the right path for happiness. We can think of emotions as a GPS that signals us when we need a change in direction. Indeed, we are in charge of our own emotions and therefore our own happiness. Thus my professional title, “I AM” Consultant and Happiness Life Coach.”
